International Women’s Day – Cocktail Making with Rachel Orange

Our favourite bar tender is back to pour you a drink – well, help you pour your own! 

Rachel’s career in the bar industry began 8 years ago at a high volume cocktail bar in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Since then, she has worked in cities across the country learning different styles of bartending and growing her skills in classic cocktails, tiki drinks and molecular mixology.

Rachel spent a couple of years developing in her chosen profession, before taking on a job with an ever growing brand, The Alchemist. It was here that she began to create a name for herself, winning numerous in house competitions, most notably – Bartender of the Year 2019.

Her most recent venture is working alongside two award winning bartenders – the Schofield Brothers as their Head Bartender, with their bar opening in the spring of this year!

Rachel will be taking us through the classic Margarita. All you will need is the following:

Blanco Tequila, Cointreau, Lime, Gomme or Agave Syrup, Salt (or sugar if you prefer 😁)

Jigger/Egg Cup, Cocktail Shaker/Protein Shaker, Strainer, Fine Strainer, Ice, Cocktail Glass
