MYP Mentoring III Closing Event & ‘Developing the Optimal Mindset for Success’, with Alliance Manchester Business School @ Windmill Green – 05.12.22

As we close out our third round of MYP Mentoring, we’re excited to announce our closing event for the initiative. Following on from the success of last year’s intakes, it’s been fantastic to see the passion to help develop one another and build up ones respective network in the process.

We’re very pleased to have Jenni Rose from Alliance Manchester Business School back to provide a talk titled ‘Developing the Optimal Mindset for Success”. The aim of the event is to provide insights into taking that next step in your career, as well as being an opportunity to meet fellow Mentors and Mentees that are part of MYP Mentoring III.

The session will focus on the skills and attributes needed for the optimal mindset to achieve personal and career success. Jenni will discuss how to cultivate strengths and passions to be able to set goals, as well as how to develop the perseverance and resilience needed. Jenni will explore growth mindset and perceptions of events to make the most of opportunities, before finally think about the communication skills to build productive professional relationships.

The talk will be reflective and highly interactive drawing on Jenni’s 10 years of teaching professionals. And by the end you will hopefully leave with a clear action plan of what you need to do next to develop your mindset and focus on future success!

The event will start at 5.45pm at a brand new venue for MYP, the rooftop terrace at Windmill Green. The talk from Jenni will start at 6pm and last for around 45 minutes, before we head downstairs to Haunt for drinks.

Tickets will be £15, including two drinks and with £1 going to our charity of the year, The Prince’s Trust.
