MYP invite you to join us for our next Breakfast Club at Albert’s Schloss – for a special morning of delightful breakfast sandwiches and drinks to set you up for your day with a special guest speaker session.
Albert’s doors will open early for MYP at 7:30am, with food being served at 7:50am. Don’t worry the famous coffee will be steaming hot as soon as you step up those famous steps! The speaker session will start at 8am-8:40am.
For this Breakfast Club, we’re delighted to be joined by Jeff Ross, Co-Founder and Director of Harris & Ross Physiotherapy.
Jeff’s career speaks for itself, holding the position of Head Physiotherapist at New Zealand’s Rugby and Football teams, before uprooting to the UK and taking on board the responsibility of reforming the Medical department at Manchester City’s Academy. This then led to him becoming the Head Physiotherapist at Sale Sharks Rugby Union.
Following this diverse career Jeff, alongside his friend Rob Harris, founded Harris & Ross back in 2004. The business grew out of the desire to be able to bring the same level of care provided to elite athletes to the general public; bridging the gap between how professional sports people were being treated and what was available to everyone else. The business flourished and they now have 4 physiotherapy clinics, over 20 physiotherapists and state of the art facilities.
Jeff will share his experience to help the MYP community; with a talk on 2 of the topics he specialises in.
Firstly, ‘Posture – what are you doing?’. Delving into the importance of good posture to avoid injury and issues, plus techniques on ensuring good posture ongoing.
Secondly, ‘Tech neck & back pain – the importance of movement’. Looking specifically at how working on computers and using devices such as tablets & iPhones can cause big problems for the neck and back, then suggesting ways to alleviate this.
Let us know if you have any specific questions for Jeff when purchasing your tickets.
Tickets will be £10, including a breakfast sandwich, with a vegetarian option too. This will be accompanied with a coffee or tea, with £1 from each sale going directly to our local charity Mind, Manchester.
Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements when you are buying your ticket (this is a compulsory field to fill in before being able to purchase a ticket).
