Weʼre raising money to feed NHS workers in Greater Manchester and the North with hot meals and essential groceries from local restaurants, shops and coffee shops.
Here’s how you can donate: bit.ly/NHS-Fundraiser
A simple hot meal or some milk, fruit, vegetables and bread to take home can really make a difference to an NHS workers’ day, easily done with your help.
From the surgeons to the porters, the nurses to the catering staff, the physios to the midwives, and the paramedics to the GPs – these heroes stand for us every day when we’re at our most vulnerable, and we feel that it’s time to show our appreciation and give something back.
To start with, we will be supplying the Stock Exchange Hotel, who are putting up NHS workers for free, with bread and other essentials from Pot Kettle Black. We’ve partnered with Street Cars, who will help us transport the supplies.
And it doesn’t stop there. With your help, we’re looking to partner with restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and other food outlets from across the region to provide for our front line workers.
If you can, please donate. We will send food regularly to as many NHS staff as we possibly can using local businesses, and we will keep you updated on our social channels: @mcryoungprofessionals, @eatmcr & @mcrfinest.
